THE BACKGROUND
Since January 2010 residents of the Upriver area have met to make our area strong again. The Upriver area had historically a strong base in agricultural, that served it very well. Its farms and its countryside were not only as pretty as any, but they provided well for its residents too. With the advent of industrial farms in the prairie provinces and the shift of markets and head offices to Quebec and Ontario, bigger and bigger patches of the land were not worked anymore and became depressing to look at. The farm houses were reduced to residences or worse collapsed after having remained vacant for decades. We risk reducing our heritage here and in most of New Brunswick. Local residents and visitors buying from local farmers and others offering food for sale, could turn the tide. That is what we are striving for. But how do our neighbours feel? This what this survey is about.
THE SURVEY
It is the goal of this survey to find out whether Upriver residents and visitors are interested in revitalising this community by buying the foods their neighbours grow and make. Our goal is clear, but your answer should not be infuenced by that - please tell us honestly, how you will shop. Only with this honest and open information can we direct our efforts into a direction that helps the Upriver area most.
Normally, cookies are activated in a browser. If that is not the case with your browser, please, allow session cookies for this web site.

You will receive for your records a copy of your answers per e-mail.
