Upriver welcomes you sign

We are having a contest! We want everybody to show how proud they are of our Upriver area and create an Upriver sign. It can be any size you want it to be, any shape, any colour; be creative. The one rule is that you have to use the word UPRIVER in your work of art! You can paint your sign on your garbage box or mail box, put a sign at the end of your driveway or even paint it on your house if you want! The idea here is to be imaginative and create a sign that you think is representative of our Upriver area, then when people visit us they will see how proud we are to live here. So come on and let’s have some fun! Once you have created your sign, call or email me to register your creation, then on October 2nd, 2010 we will travel to each location, photograph your sign and judge each design. The winner’s sign will appear in the November issue of the Upriver newsletter and prizes will be awarded.
